"I’m sorry you and your family are dealing with this. I understand why you’re frustrated, and these are never decisions I like to see either. Towing coverage is there to be used when needed, and we would never tell someone not to use coverage they’ve purchased.

I do want to clarify that the non-renewal was not based simply on using towing twice. Prior to the decision, our office had communicated concerns regarding the overall frequency of claims on the household’s policies on more than one occasion. Ultimately, the non-renewal decision was made by State Farm underwriting and is not something our local office has the authority to change.

I know that doesn’t make the situation any less disappointing, and I’m sorry this was the outcome."
